The recipe for an afternoon

How the class unfolds

Five steps. Lunch sessions start around midday, dinner sessions in the early evening.

  1. Step 1

    Welcome to our home

Meet Wissal and her mother in their Moroccan salon for a cultural introduction and friendly conversation. Guests are welcomed with mint tea or spiced coffee and homemade cookies.

  2. Step 2

    Cooking time

Head to the kitchen to prepare traditional dishes with fresh ingredients and family recipes — tagine, couscous or pastilla, plus Moroccan salads and a fresh mocktail. Hands-on, beginner level.

About Wissal

Learn to pour it from up high

Mint tea opens every class: you brew it, then pour it from height until it foams. The Pelago listing puts it first on the programme — “you will be welcomed with a traditional mint tea and learn how to make it”.
